I'm Leonardo, a photographer and artist living in London, UK.

​

I started my photography career in the beautiful British Columbia, Canada.

During the summer I was Head of Photography for Ziptrek Ecotours in Whistler, where I was in charge of a team of photographers that shot both action photos as well portraits for clients. In the winter months I worked for Whistler Blackcomb's official on mountain photographers, Coast Mountain Photography, where I shot ski and snowboard photography as well as family, child and couple portraiture. I then went freelance and set up a ski, snowboard and portrait service in Banff National Park as well as a variety of photography classes and a print store.

The Covid-19 pandemic allowed me to spend more time on astrophotography and in 2021 my photographic artwork 'Celestial Fracture' was named the winner of the Royal Museum Greenwich Astronomy Photographer of the Year Annie Maunder Prize for Image Innovation.

I am now based in London, UK and offer photography services for corporate events, portraiture and sport, whilst still producing my own landscape photographs and experimental photography imagery. ​

In September 2025 my artwork 'Fourth Dimension' won The Astronomy Photographer of the Year, Annie Maunder Prize and is currently being displayed at the National Maritime Museum in London until August 2026.

During Frieze London 2026, I am having a solo exhibition at the Photobook Gallery, Shoreditch on Saturday October 17th.
